Hi:
I'm using a COM11 modem with a SC105 and CR1000 datalogger. I downloaded a MDA (Mobile Data Assitant) to use ti. When push on "Find Modem" it's not possible and the MDA show me on the screen a mesagge like this "No Modem Found". I am little bit confusing 'cause CR1000 works well with the same port but when I try to connect COM111 and find it, this devices it is not detected.
What's the problem?
Which version of the MDA are you using?
Version v4.0.2.0
How have you got the COM111 connected to the PC running the MDA? Is the COM111 at 9600 or 115200?
I have been trying with the two options: 9600 and 115200 but it does not work. In this link you can see two way that I try to connect COM111.

Have you got a SIM card inserted whilst programming the COM111?
Yes, SIM card is inserted on COM111. However it does not work.
From the home page of the MDA in the direct command box on the lower right, enter the following commands in turn waiting for them to complete...
AT+WOPEN=0
AT+WOPEN=1
AT+SPRESET
Then try to re-program, if you still hit an issue, then please forward the contents of the log in the right panel.
I think the problem is show when code AT+WOPEN=0 is execute.

My problem is solved. My signal was poor.
Now I want to connect with modem online using a server. How can I do?
Can you explain more, when you say you want to connect online using a server.
I want to send all data recordered by Datalogger CR1000 to show on internet
through on internet using a web page.
Have you looked at our Konect Data Service http://www.konectgds.com or if you want to run something yourself you would need LoggerNet and csiWebServer and host them on your own server/computer. What are you using currently?
I am a beginner in this sorry if my questions are easy to someone wit a lot of experience. I configured the COM111 and now I want to see the data from my computer without using wire USB. I guess this is posiblle right?

Do you have the latest MDA installed v4.0.5 and the Latest DevConfig utility? Can you list which versions you have?
We are using the latest available in the web for MDA software v4.0.3 and DevConfig v2.22.14.
Today, We are conecting with "MAESTRO SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION" for M100 Modems using the mini USB port Modem.
The MDA find the modem in this port but this software don't use this port for programming the modem.
for check the serial data port we are using AT commands

The latest version of the MDA is v4.0.5, you will need this is as you are using DevConfig v2.22.
The MDA can't use the USB port to program the modem, it only supports programming the modem via the d-type serial port.
i have updated the software version MDA 4.0.5 and Devconf 2.22 and have tested but the modem not found.
Im using USB-RS232 Converter and testing with direct connecttion to DB9-DB15 Cable modem or null cable modem
I have tested to 9600 and 115200 baud, 8,N,1.
Could you help me with my problem, do you have a another suggestions?
