有时候，一根旧的线缆可以用新的更长的线缆替换。
一般来说，额外的线缆不能通过铰接的方法来延长，因为：
把线缆铰接在一起，增加了一些风险，水可能进入线缆并造成短路、腐蚀或其它潜在的故障，继而造成测量问题。
因为这些潜在的问题，如果没有在第一时间联系 Campbell Scientific 的应用工程师来具体讨论该传感器，请不要铰接线缆。
