  1. Does the 18529 Morningstar Regulator draw power from the battery during the nighttime?

    Yes. The regulator draws approximately 10 mA continuously. This draw should be included when calculating the power budget of a system.

  2. Does the 18529 Morningstar Regulator have the Low Voltage Disconnect feature?

    The 18529 offered by Campbell Scientific does not have the Low Voltage Disconnect feature. Campbell Scientific generally does not recommend using such a feature when critical data collection is involved.
